Malayalam Movie Lucifer | Release Date

Lucifer is an upcoming Malayalam thriller film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy. Film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas, the film marks Prithviraj's directorial debut and Mohanlal plays the lead role alongside Vivek Oberoi, Indrajith Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas and Manju Warrier.

Film is current scheduled to release on 28 March 2019.

Prithviraj as Veluthambi Dalava

Following the recent hits ‘Raavanan’ and ‘Pokkiri Raja’, young superstar Prithviraj seems to be in his best of times, as he has been invited to play historical characters in two new films.

He will be the ‘Veluthampi Dalava’ in the new movie titled the same under the super vision of senior director Vijithampi. Renji Panikkar will script the movie. The official announcement of this big budget project will be made in a couple of weeks.

Prithviraj and Genelia in Santosh Sivan's Urumi

Cameraman Santosh Sivan who has been getting congratulated for his brilliant work in Raavanan, is now all set to do a film in Malayalam and Tamil, titled Urumi.It will also be dubbed in english.

It is a casting coup for Santhosh as he has brought together India’s most valued brand Genelia and the fastest rising star Prithviraj together. Santosh’s last directorial ventures in English Beyond the Rains and Tahaan in Hindi have been critically acclaimed and were also marketing success.

Urumi is a period film with Prithviraj and Genelia in the lead while the rest of the cast is being finalised. 'Urumi' is an 8 ft long flexible sword used in Kalari fights, a martial art of Kerala.

Urumi is about a group of men who wanted to assassinate Vasco Da Gama, the Portuguese explorer, who set foot in Kappad in Calicut in 1498. The film will have an English subtitle- “Who Killed Vasco De Gama?” Genelia will play a Portuguese princess while Prithviraj will be the leader of the gang who wants to kill Vasco De Gama.It will be the first film produced by prithviraj.

Thriller as the the name suggest is a full time thrilling investigation story.Unnikrishnan is busy with his next film titled, Thriller. This film is based on murder case of Paul. This case was the headlines in the media for more than three months which had drawn attention for its mysterious planning and execution.

Prithviraj is playing the leading role in Thriller. He is playing the role of young investigative officer DCP Niranjan IPS, who is investigating this case. This film also has Lalu Alex, Jagathy, Saikumar and Siddique in prominent roles. Poonam kaur is the heroein.

Prithviraj in Blessy's New Film Aadujeevitham

Prithviraj is all excited about doing a film with noted writer and director Blessy. He has now chosen Prithviraj for his next film Aadujeevitham The shoot of the film is to take place in the deserts of Dubai and Rajasthan from August end. Prithviraj is all excited about the film, which will be another feather on his cap. Blessy has asked Prithviraj to reduce his weight by 20 Kilos for the character he is going to play in Aadujeevitham The actor who is very disciplined and “will do anything to get under the skin of the character” is going to go on a crash diet after he completes Anwar.
